AltexSoft Executives Represented Ukrainian Tech Industry at Ukrainian Week and StrategEast in Washington, DC

Oleksandr Medovoi, President & CEO of AltexSoft, and Oleksandr Blishun, Director of Client Engagement, participated in two high-profile events in Washington, D.C., aimed at strengthening ties between Ukraine and the US:

Oleksandr Medovoi participated in Ukrainian Week in Washington, an event that fosters dialogue between Ukrainian and US policymakers, business leaders, and civil society representatives. The forum is a platform to discuss Ukraine’s post-war recovery, international security, and economic cooperation. AltexSoft has been one of the supporting partners of this event for the second year in a row.

This year’s event emphasized forming new partnerships and developing solutions that promote social, humanitarian, and economic transformation. Ukrainian Week participants sought ways to improve the collaborations between government agencies, universities, businesses, and churches in the US and Ukraine to strengthen societal resilience and economic recovery.

Over the course of six days, the event hosted business and leadership forums, discussions aimed at supporting veterans and their social reintegration into the workforce and society, a session on the evangelical partnership strategy, and more.

Meanwhile, Oleksandr Blishun participated in the US-Ukraine Tech Partnership Initiative by StrategEast in partnership with Diia.City.Union and Kharkiv IT Cluster. This initiative is designed to expand the opportunities for Ukrainian and US tech companies by facilitating strategic partnerships, investment connections, and business matchmaking with US stakeholders. The agenda included meetings with representatives from the Congressional Ukraine Caucus, World Bank, USAID, and the US State Department, highlighting the role of Ukraine’s tech industry in reconstruction and digital transformation efforts.
