- Oct 22-24, 2019
- Washington, DC, Atlanta, Georgia
AltexSoft held Data Science and Artificial Intelligence meetups in Washington, DC on October 22, and in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 24. The events were aimed at business owners and executives who want to set up a data management strategy or already use business intelligence (BI) in their organizations and plan to improve it.
The discussion focused on the impact of AI and machine learning in business, the difference between Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence, and how both must be part of an organization’s data strategy. Our Data Science Competence Leader, Alexander Konduforov, explained how to transform a business using data with a presentation titled “AI: The New Data Frontier for Your Business.” The meetups featured presentations by local experts who expanded listeners’ knowledge on the topics discussed.
Shirish Revankar, Managing Partner & BI/AI Automation Leader at True North Data delivered a talk on “Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence Life Cycle” at the meetup in Washington.
During the Atlanta meetup, Oleksandr Medovoi, AltexSoft President and CEO, shared his experience on the holistic approach to data transformation in enterprise. Alex Vayner, Partner, Data Science & AI at PA Consulting Group, discussed “AI-Driven M&A for Utilities,” and Scott King, Consultant from Tableau Software (now part of Salesforce) addressed “The Blueprint to a Data-Driven Organization.”
“We’re glad to be back in the US with a series of meetups. This time we’ve expanded our presence to Washington, DC, as it’s one of the US innovation hubs” — says Oleksandr Medovoi.
The events took place at the Arlington Tech eXchange (Washington, DC) and Atlanta Tech Village (Atlanta, Georgia).
