2-star hotel
A 2-star hotel is a property that offers basic necessities at affordable rates. As a rule, there are limited room options available but all of them have an en suite bathroom and a closet. Also, a telephone, TV, hygiene essentials, and towels are usually provided.
Expect a 2-star hotel to have a designated front desk area, often available 24 hours, and many offer Wi-Fi. There might be an in-house bar or restaurant where meals are served.
Typically, daily housekeeping services are also included. A 2-star hotel doesn’t offer valet, baggage, concierge, or room services. There’s no pool, conference room, gym, spa, or other amenities.
In general, hotel star ratings are designed to help travelers understand the level of service, cleanliness, amenities, and other standards that properties maintain, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest grade. However, the exact rating systems vary across the world, so it’s impossible to outline strict distinctions.
