Airport security check

An airport security check is a point at airports where passengers, luggage, and carry-on items are screened to ensure the safety and security of air travel. Security personnel conduct this process to prevent prohibited items or dangerous materials from being brought onto the aircraft. 

Passengers walk through metal detectors or AIT scanners so that security personnel can detect concealed items. If further inspection is needed, individuals may undergo a pat-down.

Checked luggage is scanned in a separate area using advanced detection systems like CT scanners.

Airport security checks protect passengers, crew, and aircraft from potential threats, including terrorism, criminal activities, and hazardous materials that could pose risks.
