Booking code

A booking code is an alphanumeric code provided by airlines to represent a reservation. It identifies the details of a booking, such as the price, restrictions, and the specific type of service associated with a particular reservation.

When a passenger books a flight, the system assigns them a booking code based on the selected fare class. This code is then used throughout the process to track and manage the reservation.

Travelers can find their booking codes in confirmation emails, mobile apps, or websites of travel providers (airlines, OTAs, hotels, short-term rental platforms, car rentals, or rail companies).
