Business hotel
A business hotel is a property that mainly focuses on guests traveling for business (as opposed to resorts and other hospitality types that cater to leisure travelers).
Business hotels are typically located in the city center, near convention facilities, or close to transportation hubs (airports, railway stations, etc.). They often have a majority of single rooms in their room fund and provide such amenities as work areas, meeting or conference rooms, and so on.
Business hotels usually offer targeted services like car rental, airport transfer, event organization, financial services, and more.
In their marketing and pricing strategies, business hotels target corporate travelers in a number of ways. For example, usually, most bookings are for weekdays so the rates are set accordingly. Also, many business hotels sign contracts with enterprises offering them discounted prices. It’s beneficial for both parties as companies always have guaranteed accommodation for their traveling staff, while the property gets regular customers.
