Day rate
A day rate, also known as a day-use room or hourly hotel, is a pricing model allowing guests to book a hotel room for daytime use (typically 6–8 hours) without an overnight stay.
Day rates allow accommodation providers to increase their RevPAR, and other hotel metrics by allowing them to sell rooms that would otherwise remain vacant during daytime hours.
Specialized OTAs tailored to daytime bookings allow guests to find hotels that offer day stays, often at discounted rates.
