Early check-in

Early check-in is a service hotels and other accommodations offer that allows guests access to their rooms before the standard check-in time.

Early check-in depends on availability — when past guests check out, as guests can only enter their room when the housekeeping staff are done cleaning and preparing the room. It also depends on timing. It can be harder to get during peak seasons and the weekends when there’s greater demand.

Chain hotels like Accor and Best Western provide early check-ins as part of their loyalty programs. OTAs like like Agoda allow you to filter out hotels that offer early check-ins.
