Galileo GDS

Galileo GDS is a computer reservations system (CRS) owned by Travelport since 2007. It was originally known as Apollo when launched by United Airlines in 1971. 

Galileo GDS allows OTAs and other travel businesses to access and book travel products and services, including flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, vacation packages, and other travel offerings.

It provides API/XML integration solutions that allow travel businesses to connect their websites or booking systems directly to this huge database. 

Galileo offers access to a wide range of travel content from global suppliers, including low-cost carriers, all accessible through a single API.
