Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA)

Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a not-for-profit membership association that promotes tourism and travel development in the Asia-Pacific region.

Founded in 1951, PATA brings together governments, tourism boards, airlines, hospitality businesses, and academic institutions. The goal is to help destinations in the Asia-Pacific region attract more travelers and support sustainable and responsible tourism growth.

PATA provides travel forecasts, training programs, market reports, and consumer behavior studies to help tourism professionals make informed decisions.

The association organizes events (e.g., the PATA Annual Summit) where industry leaders discuss trends and collaborate on regional tourism strategies.
