Oleksandr Medovoi, President & CEO of AltexSoft, Becomes the Member of Advisory Council for the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine
Kharkiv, Ukraine – September 14, 2020 – Oleksandr Medovoi, President & CEO of AltexSoft, has been elected to membership on the newly created Advisory Council for Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The Advisory Council is an elected body that serves to facilitate communication between citizens and the Ministry. The 35 elected members represent NGOs, government organizations, and economic organizations that are actively involved in the Ukrainian IT industry. Oleksandr Medovoi was nominated to be Chairman of the Kharkiv IT Cluster Supervisory Board.
“The Ministry’s goal aligns with the goals of Ukraine’s IT industry and this is an opportunity to speak on behalf of the local IT community at the state level. Also, as a community we want to impact digitalization as it drives more transparent processes in our country,” says Oleksandr Medovoi.
Oleksandr Medovoi was elected Chairman of the Kharkiv IT Cluster Supervisory Board for the second time since 2015.
About the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine
The Ministry of Digital Transformation, established in 2019, is a government ministry in Ukraine. Aimed at the development and promotion of Ukraine’s digital infrastructure and education, one of the Ministry’s main goals is to make all government services available online and increase the IT industry in Ukraine’s GDP to 10 percent by 2024.
