Oleksandr Medovoi, President & CEO of AltexSoft, Reelected as a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Kharkiv IT Cluster

Kharkiv, Ukraine -- July 11, 2024, -- Oleksandr Medovoi, President & CEO of AltexSoft, is reelected as a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Kharkiv IT Cluster, the regional organization that connects Ukrainian IT businesses, educational organizations, and government agencies.

The Supervisory Board of the Kharkiv IT Cluster acts as the organization's ruling body and defines its strategic decisions. Every Board representative is a C-level executive of their respective companies who acts on behalf of the Ukrainian IT industry and facilitates its growth in the Kharkiv region and beyond.

The key function of the Supervisory Board is to develop a strategy and arrange the work of the operations team to strategically focus all Cluster projects and activities on its mission goals -- create an environment for technology businesses, control results, and act as a representative of these businesses. Before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the technology industry was among the most developed in the region. Despite the difficult circumstances in Kharkiv, the IT Cluster remains the largest and among the most influential organizations in the region,” says Oleksandr Medovoi.

The key criteria for Supervisory Board admission are personal engagement, high ethical standards, teamwork skills, and no conflict of interest (e.g., being a deputy in a ruling body). 

About the Kharkiv IT Cluster

The Kharkiv IT Cluster is an NGO that unites leading IT companies, local authorities, and higher education institutions to introduce comprehensive changes to the city’s IT ecosystem. Its mission is to create an innovative environment that develops the technology business. The organization was established in 2015 by six local IT companies: AltexSoft, INSART, Promodo, Sloboda Studio, Telesens, and Videal. Currently, the Kharkiv IT Cluster has over 600 member companies and partners.
