We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a transformative project in the retail automotive industry.
About Project
This innovative platform automates warranty processing for dealerships across the United States, providing significant cost and time savings through advanced automation and cloud-based services. As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a platform transitioning to a microservices architecture while maintaining robust testing practices.
You Have
5+ years of relevant experience in QA testing.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Proficiency in testing tools and technologies such as Selenium and Jira.
Basic knowledge of programming languages for test automation.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Would be a plus
2+ years of experience in the automotive industry, especially with DMS (Dealer Management System) software.
Advanced Selenium development experience.
Scripting experience for test automation.
Familiarity with AWS services.
You Are Going To
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across various components of the platform.
Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and other tools to enhance test coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test cases align with requirements and development progress.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Support the migration process to a microservices architecture by validating workflows and data integrity.
