AltexSoft and Awai Partner to Launch Disruptive Holiday Booking Platform

Atlanta, GA — March 20, 2023 — AltexSoft, a Travel & Hospitality Technology Consulting company, provided engineering services to Awai, an Australia-based travel startup, to bring a holiday booking platform to the market. Together, the two companies have developed a one-stop platform for travelers that streamlines the booking process through dynamically generating hundreds of millions of package options with flights and hotels for a wide array of destinations.

The Awai platform is designed to simplify the travel booking process by removing the need for travelers to search for the best deals for flights and hotels separately. Instead, Awai offers dynamically generated packages that include flights and accommodation. With Awai, travelers can search for packages using different combinations such as date, destination, and best price. The platform also allows for the customization of packages, including the ability to upgrade rooms and inclusions, select preferred airlines and flights, and add transfers and insurance.

AltexSoft helped Awai develop the holiday booking platform, utilizing independent resources and data from external suppliers such as Amadeus, Travelfusion, and Hotelbeds. The main challenge for the AltexSoft team was creating dynamic packages that could take into account a wide range of parameters, but the result is a convenient platform that offers over 500 million deals with up-to-date availability data. The platform’s packages are updated every four hours to ensure that travelers have access to the most current options.
