AltexSoft Georgia Celebrates One-Year Anniversary
Tbilisi, Georgia – 25 November 2022 — AltexSoft, a technology consulting company, celebrates the first anniversary of its tech hub in the country of Georgia. It’s been one year since AltexSoft opened its R&D office in Tbilisi, Georgia, keeping a company’s strategic focus on creating strong consultancy and technology expertise in travel & transportation, data & analytics, applied AI, software engineering, and product management.

To celebrate this important milestone, we are taking a look back at the main moments and achievements of the AltexSoft Georgia hub during these past 12 months.
Tech Meetup with AltexSoft. Our initial task in Georgia is to contribute to the Georgian IT community which has the potential of becoming a global IT hub. So, on November 25, 2021, we officially opened the doors of our office in Tbilisi where the “Tech Meetup with AltexSoft” event took place. The purpose of this event was to introduce the company to employees, share plans, and ensure that everyone was on the same page.
Come.Get.Join Tech Meetup. On April 7, 2022, AltexSoft held a Come. Get. Join tech meetup in Tbilisi to share the engineering experience and engage local talents. There were speakers from Georgia, Ukraine, and the Netherlands who discussed designing clean architecture in the travel domain, building micro-frontend architecture, and securing web applications.
Come.Get.Join AltexSoft Lab Event. Another significant event happened in June 2022 under the name "Come.Get.Join AltexSoft Lab," which marked the launch of a 2-month paid internship for prospective young talents in Georgia. Managers and developers who joined the company through AltexSoft Lab spoke at the event and shared their experiences on how learning programming changed their lives.
Since AltexSoft Georgia started working, there were a few boot camps for Junior, Middle, and Senior developers. Also, we launched a training project resembling real work conditions at the end of September to help those interested in IT get their first experience within 3.5 months.
So far it has been an interesting journey and more is yet to come.
